After the constant effort of the builders for 1,036 days, the construction of Mudanjiang-Jiamusi HSR has come to its key point. With the completion of the Junshan tunnel as its last part of construction, holing-through achieved at Mudanjiang-Jiamusi HSR.
Mudanjiang-Jiamusi HSR is a key railway construction project specified in Chinas Mid-and-Long-Term Railway Network Plan and the 13th Five-Year Plan. Upon completion, the Mudanjiang-Jiamusi HSR will constitute a fast railway ring line in eastern Heilongjiang, together with the Harbin-Mudanjiang HSR and the Harbin-Jiamusi Railway, thus forming the Harbin two-hour Economic Circle. Up to now, the subgrade and bridge erection of the Mudanjiang-Jiamusi HSR have already been completed, laying a solid foundation for its track-laying and holing-through.
